Epithelial-derived cytokine TSLP triggers chemokinesis of resting primary human dendritic cells (DCs) in a cell-autonomous manner. TSLP induces human DC to acquire a very polarized morphology. Myosin II heavy chain (green) shows a cortical distribution and is found to be preferentially associated to actin filaments (red) in the cell. Moreover, myosin II accumulates in the nuclear edge of DCs, suggesting contractibility of this area.
