TH17 cells infiltrate and expand in the lungs during lethal acute GVHD. TH17 cells from eGFP transgenic mice were imaged in the lungs of allogeneic recipients. Pixel coloration (blue, green, yellow, red, white) denotes eGFP intensity, which correlates to increased numbers of eGFP+ cells. See Figure 5 in the article by Carlson et al on page 1365.
