The image shows adoptively transferred B cells and visualized blood vessels in a mouse inguinal lymph node. A 60 *m z-projection was acquired with a 20× lens (Leica TCS SP5 microscope). The blood vessels were visualized by injection of quantum dot 705 (purple). The B-cell follicle was delineated by adoptively transferring B cells (blue) 18 hours prior to imaging. Recently, adoptively cotransferred nonstimulated (red) and LPS-stimulated (green) B cells reside in or near high endothelial venules, although some stimulated cells have entered the LN follicle.
