    Engraftment of human CD34+ cells (red) in the hematopoietic niche of a zebrafish larvae, transgenic for green vasculature. CD34+ cells are transduced in vitro with rLV.EF1.tdTomato-9, expanded with UM171 compound, and injected in 2-day-old zebrafish larvae. The engraftment is captured 24 hours after cell injection. Small bulks of CD34+ cells grow in tight proximity of the hematopoietic-niche vasculature in the Tg(fli1:EGFP) zebrafish model. See the article by Elnaggar et al.
