Erratum for vol. 82, p. 1395

In the article by Methia et al entitled “Oligonucleotides Antisens to the Proto-Oncogene c-mpl Specifically Inhibit In Vitro Megakaryocytopoiesis,” which appeared in the September 1, 1993 issue (Vol 82, No 5, pp 1395-1401), a correction should be noted regarding the sequence of the antisens primer used to amplify the c-mplmessage. The sequence of the antisens primer has been inadvertently transcribed in the 3′-5′ orientation, instead of the 5′-3′ orientation. The antisens primer was correctly synthesized and the sequence is as follows: 5′-AGA-ACT-GTG-GGG-TCT-GTA-GT-3′. The conclusions of the report are not changed.
