On page 1653 of the 5 March 2015 issue, the wording of the article title may lead to a misunderstanding. Instead of “Chronic acute anemia and extracranial internal carotid stenosis are risk factors for silent cerebral infarcts in sickle cell anemia,” the title should have been “Chronic and acute anemia and extracranial internal carotid stenosis are risk factors for silent cerebral infarcts in sickle cell anemia.” The error has been corrected in the online version, which now differs from the print version.
