On page 3039 of the 29 March 2012 issue, there are errors in 2 primer sequences for amplification of genomic DNA. In the “RNA extraction RT PCR, F.IX cDNA PCR” section, the primer sequence “forward 5′-CCAAAGGTTATGCAGCGCGTG-3′” should have read, “forward 5′-CGGTTTGACTCACGGGGAT-3′.” Furthermore, the primer sequence “reverse 5′-TACTTACCAACCTGCGTGCTGGC-3′” should have read, “reverse 5′-CGCGCTGCATAACCTTTGG-3′.” The sentence should have read, “We amplified vector gDNA with primers yielding a 242-bp fragment: forward 5′-CGGTTTGACTCACGGGGAT-3′, reverse 5′-CGCGCTGCATAACCTTTGG-3′.”
