On pages 4993 and 4996 in the 17 June 2010, issue, there are errors in 3 sentences.

On page 4993, in “Results” under the heading “Survival in relation to thrombosis in MM and MGUS,” the first sentence reads: “Survival in MM patients with versus without thrombosis was not statistically different at 5 (HR = 1.0; 95% CI, 0.3-3.5) or 10 years (HR = 0.8; 95% CI, 0.4-1.6).” The sentence should have read: “Survival among MGUS patients that developed MM with versus without thrombosis was not statistically different at 5 (HR = 1.0; 95% CI, 0.3-3.5) or 10 years (HR = 0.8; 95% CI, 0.4-1.6).”

On page 4993, in “Discussion” the fourth sentence of the first paragraph reads: “In accordance with other studies, thrombosis in MM patients had no effect on survival.33 “The sentence should have read: “Similar to prior studies showing that MM patients with a thrombosis have no altered survival, we found that thrombosis in MGUS patients who progressed to MM had no effect on survival.33

On page 4996, the second sentence in the third paragraph should have been omitted: “The same did not apply to MM patients, which is in accordance with another study.33
