The authors have been alerted to recent data suggesting that the specificity and purity of various batches of antibodies MHIS1952 and PP2055 cannot be assured and that the protocol used for generation and purification of these antibodies was not as described in reference 13. Although the authors are unable to confirm whether the specific batch of antibodies provided to them for use in this study was affected, out of an abundance of caution and to ensure complete transparency, they wish to alert readers that data in Figure 5 (page 1363) obtained with MHIS1952 and PP2055 cannot be confidently interpreted, because they may be confounded by a lack of purity and/or specificity of these antibodies. This potential issue is restricted to the experiments presented in Figure 5 and does not affect other data in the article or the overall conclusions of the study.
