ASH Announces New Editor-in-Chief of Blood

The American Society of Hematology (ASH) has selected Andrew Roberts, MBBS, PhD, AM as the new Editor-in-Chief of its flagship journal Blood. He will serve as the journal’s 13th Editor-in-Chief, and his term will commence on January 1, 2025. Learn more here.

New Additions to the Blood Journals Portfolio

The American Society of Hematology is excited to introduce two new journals to the Blood Journals Portfolio, Blood Immunology & Cellular Therapy (Blood ICT) and Blood Red Cells & Iron (Blood RCI), Both are set to open for submissions in early 2025, and will be peer-reviewed, open access journals publishing high-quality original research in specialized blood disease areas. Blood ICT announces Dr. Willem E. Fibbe as its inaugural Editor-in-Chief, while Dr. Patrick Gallagher will serve as the inaugural Editor-in-Chief of Blood RCI. It is an online-only, open access journal that publishes new content continuously, including original research and important community resources such as the ASH Clinical Guidelines.

Blood Neoplasia is an online-only, open access journal publishing research focused on hematologic malignancies and associated disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, Waldenström macroglobulinemia, hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, myeloproliferative neoplasms, minimal residual disease, and precursor conditions. New content is published continuously.

Blood Vessels, Thrombosis & Hemostasis (Blood VTH) is an online-only, open access journal publishing research focused on thrombosis, hemostasis, and vascular biology, as well as associated disorders, including hemorrhagic disorders and platelet blood disorders. New content is published continuously.
