Exogenous PGE₂ reversed the inhibitory effects of celecoxib. BMMs were pretreated with celecoxib (50 ng/mL) and PGE₂ either alone or in combination as indicated and then stimulated with RANKL. On day 5, the cells were fixed and stained for TRAP as described in “Materials and methods.” Similar results were obtained in 2 additional experiments.
