Viral protein staining in SHIV_KU-2–infected rhesus MDMs after treatment with IL-4 protein and AS IL-4 ODN. MDM cultures were grown on chamber slides, inoculated with SHIV_KU-2 for 4 hours at 37°C, washed, and untreated (A) or then treated with either rmIL-4 (B) or AS IL-4 (C) for 48 hours. Cells were then fixed and immunostained using anti-Gag p27 antibody.
