Pim-2 promotes rapamycin-insensitive translation. Four-hour ³⁵S incorporation of FL5.12 cells expressing myristolated Akt-1 (mAkt) or Pim-2 grown in the presence of IL-3 (+IL-3) or in the absence of IL-3 (-IL-3) treated with vehicle (-Rap) or 20 nM rapamycin (+Rap) for 24 hours before and during cysteine/methionine labeling.
