Rapamycin potentiates TF expression of HUVECs in the presence of VEGF. TF expression by HUVECs was measured by ELISA 12 hours after incubation with VEGF or Ang-1 in the presence of different inhibitors. mTOR was inhibited with rapamycin (RAPA), whereas the MAP kinase pathway was interrupted with PD98059 (PD).
