Indicated amounts of CsA (○), tacrolimus (▿), or rapamycin (□) were added to cultures of DCs generated from BM cells of Balb/c mice together with OVA microspheres (50 μg/mL). After 2 hours, unphagocytized OVA microspheres and immunosuppressive drugs were removed by washing, and then a class II MHC–restricted presentation assay was performed with CD4 T cells isolated from the spleens of DO11.10 mice as described in Figure 1B.
