uPAR_84-95 increases the output of clonogenic progenitors in LTCs. The output of myeloid and erythroid colony-forming cells (CFCs), generated from LTCs of highly purified BM CD34⁺ cells, was measured by replating nonadherent cells in methylcellulose. Nonadherent cells were removed weekly after 2-hour LTC treatment with the uPAR_84-95 (▪) peptide or its scrambled version ().
