B6D2F1 mice (30 per group) received a single dose of 8.3 Gy plus AcSDKP (A), RXP407 (B), or telmisartan (C). RXP407 and telmisartan were injected subcutaneously twice a day for 4 days beginning 48 hours before irradiation. AcSDKP was administered by subcutaneous route twice a day for 3 days beginning 48 hours before the single exposure. Survival was scored daily for 48 days. Log-rank tests with survival curves showed that telmisartan-treated irradiated mice survived significantly longer (P < .001) than untreated irradiated mice. Irr indicates irradiated.
