Fucoidan specifically binds bone marrow myeloid cells via L-selectin and other receptors. BMNCs from wild-type mice were incubated with biotinylated fucoidan (B-Fuc, filled histogram), native fucoidan (N-Fuc, bold line histogram), followed by B-Fuc, or B-Fuc in the presence of EDTA (dashed-line histogram).
