Transcription from the uPA reporter construct is affected by cotransfection of the dominant negative form of JNK in PC3 cells. A uPA-MP reporter plasmid, as for Figure 1, was cotransfected in PC3 cells with increasing amounts of a plasmid constitutively expressing the dominant negative form of JNK. The uPA minimal promoter element displays a substantial, dose-dependent reduction of transcription in the presence of JNK^DN (A). Error bars indicate SD.
