Expression of Bcl-2 by Sca-1⁺ AGM cells. Immunostaining was performed on Ly-6A (Sca-1) GFP transgenic E12 AGM and E11 aortic cells. AGM and aorta cells were isolated as a single-cell suspension and deposited on microscope slides by cytospin (original magnification, × 100). Panels A, E, and I show 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) staining; panels B, F, and J show Ly-6A (Sca-1) GFP fluorescence; panel C shows anti-Bcl-2 Texas Red fluorescence; and panel G shows anti-Bcl-2 Cy3 fluorescence. Panel K was incubated with no primary antibody. Panels D, H, and L are an overlay of GFP and Texas Red/Cy3 fluorescence.
