Samples are issued from MNCs mobilized by G-CSF + SCF in baboons and G-CSF alone in healthy human donors as described in Figure 1. mRNA expression levels of GATA-4, GATA-5, and NFATC were analyzed by reverse transcription and real-time PCR. Transcription factors' mRNA levels, normalized against cyclophylin-A mRNA, are expressed as percentages of averaged mRNA levels of mobilized CD34- cells (error bars indicate standard deviation). Nkx2.5 was detected only in 2 G-CSF-mobilized CD34+ cell samples and in one G-CSF + SCF CD34- cell sample, at a very low level.
