MIP-2 and KC levels in A phagocytophilum-infected murine neutrophil culture supernatants. Host cell-free A phagocytophilum were added to neutrophil cultures from PSGL-1-/-, Fuc-TIV-/-/Fuc-TVII-/-, and control mice at ratios of 4000, 400, and 40 bacteria per neutrophil. Twenty-four hours after incubation, MIP-2 (A,C) and KC (B,D) levels were measured. Assays were performed in triplicate. Results are presented as the mean ± SD of chemokine produced.
