Northern analysis of FPN1 and TfR1 mRNA expression in J774 cells incubated for 20 hours in the presence of DFO (A) or SIH (B) at the indicated concentrations. Total RNA was size-fractionated in a 1% agarose gel and transferred to a Nytran N membrane. The Northern blot was hybridized with either 32P-labeled murine FPN1 or rat TfR1 probe and then stripped and re-probed for β-actin.
