Direct presentation of alloantigens in class II KO recipients is unable to induce systemic expansion of Tg TEa cells. TEa Tg T cells (1 × 10⁶) were adoptively transferred into C57BL/6 RAG^–/– or class II KO recipients (n = 3 per group) in the presence of CB6F₁ skin alone or together with CB6F₁ DST. After 7 days in vivo, lymph nodes were collected and the total number of Tg TEa cells per LN were quantified as previously described.
