Inhibition of IL-1β–induced NF-κB activation by resveratrol. OCIM2 cells (× 10⁶/mL) were preincubated with 50 μM resveratrol for 4 hours at 37°C and then treated with various concentrations of IL-1β for 1 hour. Nuclear extracts were prepared and tested for NF-κB activation, as described in “Patients, materials, and methods.”
