Effect of transfection of dominant-negative AKT and DNM-Δp85 PI3 kinase on PlGF-mediated ERK phosphorylation in THP-1 monocytes. THP-1 cells were transfected with either DNAKT or DNM-Δp85 PI3 kinase as described in “Materials and methods.” Transfected cells were treated with PlGF for 3 minutes.
