MCT-1 overexpression increases the growth rate of lymphoid cells.(A) EC155-Vector or EC155—MCT-1 cells were seeded at 0.5 × 10⁶ cells/mL in triplicate T-25 flasks. Cells were counted every other day by using the trypan blue exclusion method for 8 days. The growth curve demonstrated the significantly increased growth rate in EC155—MCT-1 clones. Data were derived from 3 independent experiments with each clone. Error bars denote mean ± SD. (B) The EC155—MCT-1 cells showed a marked increase in PCNA level.
