Western blotting was performed with MCT-1 polyclonal antibody. Control immunoblotting was carried out with β-actin. All IL-2—independent T-cell lines exhibited elevated MCT-1 protein levels in contrast to the IL-2—dependent T-cell lines, including IL-2—stimulated PBLs, which have low to undetectable MCT-1 protein levels.
