ChIP analysis of thep40^phox promoter PU.1-binding sites.

Cross-linked HL-60 chromatin was immunoprecipitated with antibodies to PU.1 or c-Jun, or in the absence of antibody (Input). Cross-linking was reversed, and the DNA was purified and analyzed by PCR with primers designed to amplify a p40^phox DNA fragment containing these PU.1-binding sites or a segment of theCCR5 promoter that does not contain PU.1-binding sites.
