Plots show the cumulative results of detachment of plasma VWF–coated beads (10 and 100 μg/mL VWF concentration; panels A and B, respectively) from CHO αβIX cells in the presence of ristocetin (1 mg/mL). Although the slopes are similar, more VWF/GP Ib-IX bonds are formed when the 100 μg/mL VWF concentration is used (panel B). Data in each panel represent the mean values of 200 bead-cell detachments.
