SCF induced the increase of the intracellular Ca²⁺concentration.

Ca²⁺ influx in BAF3/KIT cells induced by SCF or SDF-1α. Cells were loaded with Indo 1-AM for 30 minutes at 37°C and stimulated by SCF at the indicated concentrations or SDF-1α (100 ng/mL). The intracellular Ca²⁺ concentration was monitored by measuring the relative fluorescence using a spectrofluorometer. Similar results were obtained from 3 independent experiments.
