β3Leu33 phenotyping by MAIPA with polyclonal antisera.

MAIPA was performed using platelets from Donor A and control donors with 3 β3Leu33-specific antisera (CP, MC, RF) and 2 β3Pro33 antisera (CH, DW). Sera from 2 nontransfused group AB male blood donors (AB1 and AB2) were used as negative controls. Donor A shows normal reactivity with both β3Pro33 antisera but strongly reduced reactivity with all 3 β3Leu33 antisera (HPA-1a^weak).
