Enhanced allostimulatory ability in adenovirus-infected monocytes. / Graded numbers of gamma-irradiated (20 Gy) monocytes or monocyte-derived DCs were added to 96-well tissue-culture plates with purified allogenic T lymphocytes (2 × 105 per well). Cells were cocultured for 96 hours and pulsed with 1 μCi (.038 MBq) [3H]-TdR for an additional 18 hours; then, [3H]-TdR incorporation in harvested cells was assessed by liquid scintillation spectrometry. Results are representative of 3 separate experiments with different donors.
