PECAM-1 signaling inhibits platelet protein tyrosine phosphorylation.
Platelet lysates were prepared in Laemmli buffer from nonstimulated platelets (stirred with buffer alone) and platelets stimulated for 90 seconds with Cvx (15 ng/mL) or thrombin (0.05 U/mL). Before stimulation, PECAM-1 was cross-linked in some samples (A) or platelets were incubated with isotype-matched control IgG and cross-linker F(ab′)2 (B).
