Effect of PKC inhibitors on Fas-mediated cytotoxicity and caspase-8 activation in KG1a cells.
KG1a cells (4 × 105/mL) were pre-incubated for 1 hour with chelerythrin (20 μM) or calphostin (50 nM). Then cells were treated with 2 μg/mL CH11 or IgM for 4 hours. (A) Fas-induced cell cytotoxicity was evaluated by Trypan blue exclusion assay. Results are the mean ± SD of 3 independent experiments. *P < .05.
