Fig. 8. CI-activated DCs stimulate TC2 anti-MART CD8+ T cells. / Purified CD8+ T cells were cocultured with either IFN-γ–, TNF-α–, and CD40L-treated DCs or CI-treated mature DCs for 7 days. T cells were harvested, washed, and cocultured with melanoma cells expressing MART-1, 624mel A2+ (▨), 624mel MART-1+ A2− (▪), and non–MART-1 cell line MW115 (■) for 24 hours. Supernatants were then harvested and analyzed for IL-5 or IFN-γ production by ELISA. Results are the average of 3 different experiments with the SEM.
