Effect of platelet-type vWD mutations on shear-dependent cell detachment.
Cell detachment from the vWf matrix was determined at (A) 5, 20, and 40 dynes/cm2 and (B) 60 dynes/cm2, as described in “Materials and methods.” It is expressed as the percentage adhesion at each shear stress relative to the number of adherent cells at 1 dyne/cm2, arbitrarily defined as 100%.
