LRP mRNA expression in ATL cells and cell lines.

(A) Slot blots and immunoblots. Five micrograms and 1 μg total RNA were blotted onto a membrane and hybridized with either LRP or glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase (G3PDH) RNA probe. Total cell lysates (50 μg) were separated by SDS/polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and transferred to PVDF membrane. LRP levels were determined by polyclonal antibody against LRP. (B) Northern blots. One microgram mRNA was applied to each well and hybridized with LRP RNA probe. The position of 3.5-kb LRP mRNA is indicated. A G3PDH RNA probe was used as the control probe.
