Plasmin stimulates time-dependent expression of IL-1α, IL-1β, TNF-α, and TF mRNA in human monocytes.
Monocytes (0.5 × 106/mL) were cultured in the presence of plasmin 1.43 CTA U/mL (▪) or LPS 1 μg/mL (○) or in the absence of any stimulus (■). At indicated times cells were harvested, and mRNA was extracted and subjected to RT-PCR. HLA(B) was used for normalization. (A) Representative gels are shown.
