GzmA and perforin are differentially expressed in CD8 T-cell subsets defined by CCR7, CD45RA, or CD62L expression.

GzmA was expressed in many more cells than perforin. CCR7⁺cells from healthy donors and HIV-infected donors did not express perforin.
