PMNs were detached from tumor cells by cytochalasin B, and supernatants were analyzed for β-glucuronidase (β-gluc) activity. In addition, PMNs were stimulated for 15 minutes with PMA or with FMLP in the presence of cytochalasin B. The β-glucuronidase release is presented as the percentage of total activity present in PMNs. Results are expressed as mean ± SEM from either 4 (A) or 3 (B) individual experiments.
