Tf binding sites and TfR number in C282Y and WT cells.

(A) Scatchard analysis shows that C282Y cells display fewer Tf binding sites than WT cells. Binding studies were performed at 4°C on intact cells. (B) TfR number is decreased on C282Y cells. TfR density on cells was determined by ¹²⁵I-Tf binding. Bars represent the mean ± SE from 3 separate experiments.
