Evaluation of changes in arterial diameter (expressed as a percentage from baseline) in response to 100% oxygen inhalation in patients with SCD (▵) and control subjects (▪). Subjects were asked to breathe normally for 10 minutes in a facial mask delivering 100% oxygen.
