Screening strategy for TAFI gene polymorphism and localization of polymorphisms identified in the promoter and the 3′-untranslated region of the gene.

Ten overlapping fragments of TAFI promoter (TP1 to TP10) include the gene sequence from nucleotide −2699 to +25. 3′UTR includes the 3′-end of exon 10 and the untranslated part from nucleotide 1268 to 1880 on cDNA sequence. The length of each fragment is mentioned below the arrows.
