Alteration of CD45 isoform expression on BM-derived progeny in rhIL-7–treated hosts.

Thymus-bearing C57Bl/6 mice underwent syngeneic BMT as described in “Materials and methods.” No LN cells were administered. At 28 days after BMT animals were killed and analysis of CD45 expression on electronically gated Thy 1.2⁺/CD4⁺ splenocytes was performed. The panel shows results from 2 representative mice. Bold line indicates rhIL-7 recipient; dotted line, sham treated. Background isotype staining on gated Thy 1.2⁺/CD4⁺ cells was less than 10¹ for both animals.
