(A) An F.X promoter construct containing a mutation at the GATA site (GATA → CATA) in the context of 279 bp full-length promoter was transfected into HepG2 cells and compared to the wild-type construct. (B,C) One microgram of the F.X promoter construct containing 108 bp of the promoter fragment was co-transfected with 0.5 μg of either pCMV5-GATA-4 or pCMV5 vector into HepG2 and NIH 3T3 cells.
