Effect of inhibition of human synovial fluid sPLA2 activity on EC migration.
Aliquots of human synovial fluid (15 μL) treated withp-BPB or with vehicle were placed in the lower compartment of a Transwell chamber. BAECs, placed in the upper compartment of the Transwell chamber, were allowed to migrate for 2 hours at 37°C. Determination of the number of migrated cells was carried out as described in “Material and methods.” Bars represent the mean ± SE from triplicate determinations of 3 independent experiments.
