After transduction, the cells were either allowed to grow or growth inhibited for 72 hours before analysis. DNA was digested with Sst, which cuts twice in each vector and yields a 2.3-kb fragment for M-GFP and a 5.4-kb fragment for L-GFP. The membrane was probed with a P32-labeled probe. (B) FACS analysis of the same cells as in A. Untransduced 3T3 cells were used as a negative control, the gate was set at less than 0.1% positive.
