In normal animals (right), labeled PBL (♦) and ELL (□) disappeared from the bloodstream at similar rates. In splenectomized animals (left), the disappearance of labeled ELL (□) was markedly enhanced, but the disappearance of labeled PBL (♦) was unchanged.
