MCP-1 promotes angiogenesis in the chick CAM assay.

Plastic coverslips containing 1 (B), 10 (C), or 100 (D) ng of lyophylized MCP-1 were placed on the chorioallantoic membrane of 10-day-old embryos. Distilled water, which was used as a solvent, served as the negative control (A). The percentage of positive CAMs for each MCP-1 concentration was scored (E).
